The PARTY was in BARCELONA!......so we had no choice but to go!

It was a chocolate invasion in Barcelona & the Spaniards loooooooooooooved it!
My dear friend Tessa, (3rd from the left) decided to celebrate her birthday in Barcelona so she and Juline, (2nd from left) flew from New York and Joss & I (1st on the right) flew in from Oslo :-)
And so we set off for a night, Jam Packed with excitement and fun!
The rules were .....there were NO rules, she laughs.
A limousine ride, dinner, fun and laughter all night loooooooooong. xoxo
Dinner was at the Mandarin Hotel and the service waz 1st class I tell ya!
I'm smiling here, but my feet were killing me, I was ready 2 go 2 bed after a wonderful night out!

24 hours b4!
@ the airport, this was when the party really started, hahahaha!
Trying my hardest to look sweet and innocent in my H&M Versace skirt!
It's ALWAYS so nice to bump into friends at the airport, Lionel and I always have a blast no matter how much time passes in between. xoxo
The Pilot was a woman and she was fantastic! We were given gifts of champagne and top of the line service and attention. So on our way out we decided to take a picture together and declare ourselves the new SPICE Girls!

The morning after.... :-)
The Majestic Hotel.
Joss is a dear friend of mine and I love her to death, it really is a blessing that we both live in Oslo. xoxo
A very lovely hotel and in the center of the city in the middle of everything!
We set out to discover the ever beautiful barcelona!

A little history!
Barcelona is located on the mediterranean coast and is the 4th most visited city in Europe after London, Paris and Rome!
The home to 3 of the most recognized international super stars of the silver screen.
Havier Bardem

Penolope Cruz

and..................
.............Antonio Banderas!

The beach will take your breath away again & again.
RED dress by Mango.

Now that I mention fashion, 2 of the  most popular fashion labels...... Mango & Zara are Spanish.
No matter what country I'm in, I always try to wear something from that place. This Mango dress is one of my favorites that I bought in Oslo last year.
Penolope Cruz and her sister Monica Cruz are also the muses to the fashion label and can be seen at the opening of flag ship stores around the world.
Monica & Penolope Cruz.

Zara is one of my favorite stores of all time and I used to shop there like crazy when I lived in Los Angeles.
Fashion is serious business in Barcelona, they have EVERYTHING and naturally I told my husband that I need some alone-time and set OFF to see what I could find, she laughs.

Sooooooooo, 1st stop, GUCCI Rucci!

I'd been looking for this black PVC skirt all over the place! I nearly died when I saw it and ran to the changing room to try it on!
VOILA!!!!!!!
With a sexy pair of patent black Louboutin heels (I'm thinking the Pigalle),
with a white racer back t-shirt and your're good to go, yes!

A pair of Nike's are are fabulous idea so I can run around the boutiques at TOP speed!
Also Nike sponsors the Barcelona football team. This particular store sell all the shirts with the football players numbers on them, so if u R a fan, this place is 4 u!
It's always nice to make friends at these places, believe me, they are the 1st to tell u when they have any deals. At Burberry I got a wonderful tip that their sale would start at the end of the wk with 50 percent off!!!!!!........Naturally I crossed them off my wish list and showed up again 1st thing on Friday morning. smiling. gr8!

The City is amazing and the architecture is beautiful.
I really ENJOYED Barcelona, the people are soooooooooo WARM, I felt right @ home.

To Market to Market!
The La Boqueria market was beyond amazing, u name it and they had it. What left me speechless were all the different and assorted chocolate they had! My eyes were like saucers.
The fruit was fresh and it was really lovely to see al types of fruit from different parts of the world, I fell in love with Barcelona even more right there and then......in the market:-)
What a mouth watering sight! Aaaaaaaaaaaand FAT free!

The BOTANICAL gardens.
If I were a man, and I wanted to woo a special lady, without a doubt, I would take to the botanical gardens that are on the grounds of the University of Barcelona.
And with a picnic basket in hand containing fine wine and blue cheese, we would eat and take in the breath taking sights of one of theeeee most beautiful visions on earth.

Thank u Barcelona for sharing your beauty & above all, for the wonderful weather!

xoxo Fumi.
