Frida said she got her inspiration for her fall collection from the nineteenth-cuntury decadents! What I also felt that came across in her collection was GOTHIC Goddess & the mix between the 2 worked.
Velvet is, and has always been a luxurious fabric worn by kings.
Frida spoilt us with a lot of plush velvet in mouth watering colours such as plum, espresso, emerald green, royal blue & jet black!
The last time I saw this sort of delicious and wicked glamour at the house of GUCCI, was circa 1995,
when Madonna stepped out on stage in blue Gucci velvet low cut pants & and a satin shirt that EVERYBODY had to have.
Frida did it again, in this collection.
