I met Kate in New York at the opening of the FASHION CAFE.
She chain smoked, bought drinks for everybody and was so happy go-lucky, I liked her right away and was amazed at how tiny she really was.

The fashion cafe was a restaurant chain featuring celebrities. Francesco & Tommaso Buti founded the restaurant chain which was owned by Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer & Christy Turlington.
The cafe was known as the 'couture' version of Planet Hollywood & the Hard Rock Cafe!
